how much area does a typical nikon fine duplex with target dot reticle cover at 1000 yards? is there a way to figure out other ranges as well without actually looking through a scope? does magnification play a role? I estimate my target dot covers an inch at 200 yards... so is that then multiplied by 5 to get 1000 yards?
