SuperTrickler ST101 gen2 May be in the market to buy.

Suppose I am looking for thoughts & alternative for units to compliment the A&D FX120I. I am not a fan of using an App on my phone to run my powder thrower. With that in mind the super trickster has been one of the better options from my perspective.

Are there other options I should be looking at?

I really like my SuperTrickler, just wish they would make it a bit easier to use. It's almost like you have to have a degree in physics to understand it completely. I plan to really dive into mine this off season.

Are we looking at a Gen3 going into next year?

What are your thoughts on emptying the super trickster reservoir? Only found one video & this seems to be one significant draw back from my perspective. May not be a issue at all though I do question how user friendly this process tends to be.

A funnel helps the process a good bit. It is not terrible, but could be better designed. I always lose some kernels.

Here's one offered for sale with the option to buy the FX120i along with it. He's a good guy and keeps his equipment in tip top shape.

Just posted mine super trickler gen 2 for sale, I am suppose to get the IP trickler next month. So up for sale for a like new unit.

Got rid of AT v4 and SuperTrickler. Nothing beats a FX120i or Sartorious with Gen3 Auto Throw and IG Trickler at this moment until the full IG thrower/trickler setup comes out. Im one of the first IG thrower setup pre-orders in the first batch so I should have mine as soon as they are done slated for next month.

There have been some delays on the IG full setup but it doesnt bother me, my V3 AT/IG Trickler setup is so fast and accurate Ill wait until whenever it ships.

Trying again. Here's another just posted:

Thanks again. Some one else may snap this up. Suppose I am thinking on holding off a few months or more. Reality I am primarily in this for education at the moment, Pro's & cons. To be more honest, think I may be dealing with sticker shock for the pricing of lightly used.

For the amount I reload & the type of shooting I do I am starting to think my Charge master or even the Harrels thrower is plenty fine for my task at hand. Great to have the A&D FX 120i scale though, to have a more real verification of my charge weights.

No reason I can't hand trickle the few loads I do for the time being.

I have the Auto Throw V3 coupled with the Ingenuity Precision Trickler. Very happy with both the accuracy and speed of this setup. Never got interested in the ST due to the steep learning curve I know some have had.
Having used both the Charge Master and a Harrell's Culver model powder measure I will say I (personally) found the RCBS Uniflow to be about as accurate as either of them, given familiarity with the nuances of using each. I used the Inflow in tandem with a Dandy Omega Trickler. Throw slightly under the desired charge with the Inflow and then trickle up with the Dandy. It's slow but inexpensive and it can give you charges as accurately as the scale you use to weigh then out.

Thank you for the input everyone. Looks like I will not be pulling the trigger on this one any time soon. I'll continue to observe input & perhaps I'll look at this differently in the future.
