Super slick bag ?

The super slick material on my rear bag and also the front bag on my Neo aren't so slick anymore. I do use stock tape on my stocks. Any ideas how to rejuvenate the bags so they are slick again.

If they are Protector bags you may just send them back for fresh material

The felt side of velcro or hook and loop provides a very smooth surface for my rifle to slide on. My Protektor 14A bag iss pure leather and didn't allow the rifle to recoil easily enough. So I added one piece of 2" wide cross ways traveling over the ears and into the valley where the rifle rides. I put another long ways through the valley and extended it beyond the ears on the ends to ensure I get good movement. Works very well.
Hind sight, I wish I had purchased the slick material to begin with, but this works very well too. My next bag will include the slick and I will go with a heavier bag too.

Get a normal leather bag with a slick finish. Dab a little HBN on the bag and a little on the stock. It’ll slide like it was on bearings. It doesn’t get gummy when the weather is damp, either.

Get a box of dryer sheets and keep them in your range bag. Lay one between the ears of your rear bag and one over your front bag. Slick as a whistle. Save them when you're done they are great for removing static from your powder dispenser also. If they are protector bags, give them a call, they can probably recondition them for you for a small fee.
