After services this morning, it was time for this Panda and me to have our own 'come to Jesus' time.

Every once in a while, a neck would catch on it's way out the door. I'm slower than molasses in January when comes to shooting but sure enough, it would happen every time a condition was just hangin' there and begging for me to send one more down there.

Take that, you stinkin' ejection port!

That’s the thing with having a shop, got a problem ya fix it like it or not. I just put an ejector (old style lug slider extractor) in a 97 vintage and it took me 3 trips to the range to get the port/spring right.
Should have just hogged a big ass hole in it to begin with!

A long time ago, I was inspecting a power plant. I was the noob in the group. The one guy I was working with who wasn't a douche-nozzle suggested I drill holes in my hard hat for zip ties to hold the strap in place for the headlamps we had.

I said that I didn't want to muck up a brand new piece of equipment. He looked at me and asked... "Is there anything you own that didn't need to be customized? drill the damn holes"

That stuck with me forever.
