Sunday Evening Project, Slide Racker

Installed a Striplin Custom Gunworks slide racker on my old Browning Buckmark. Milling the slide, then drilling and tapping two 4-40 screw holes.

It makes a tremendous improvement when racking the slide. Previously it wasn't TOO bad when the hammer was cocked but when pulling back the slide and cocking the hammer, man it was really tough-there is no way to get a good grip on the slide from the back, I had to reach over the top of the slide and that red dot sight made that not possible.

I would highly recommend this mod for anyone who has a Buckmark.

I've got one...it's like arm wrestling a hunk of rebar to run the slide rearward. Will get one coming....thanks for the tip. :)

Different slides are available-
Some have the EARS back there for easier cocking..
Cheaper models are smooth/ streamlined..
