Stupid loaded chamber indicator question

Loading my stuff for Butner this weekend. Cant find my chamber flag thingy. Do not have enough time to order one before I leave Thursday.

I made one out of some delrin I had but it is white.

Is white ok?

Most shoots will sell them especially the dcm or your local gun shop . I would spray paint it yellow with krylon paint for plastic,cant think of the name but they have it everywhere. I think it is krylon fusion.

I forgot mine the last time I went down to Butner and they had one to borrow for the day. You could probably just ask around as well, since then I've kept 3-4 in my range bag for that reason.

Plastic line (orange,red,green) for a weed whacker and tie knots at one end to make mass for visibility or attach a piece of bright colored cloth to it.

I milled one out of 1/4" delrin flat stock amd painted the flag part yellow ;D
I am going to pick up several though to throw in my range bag...
