Striker spring weights and ignition

Hi,
I'm looking to refresh the firing pin spring on an old Savage M110FP.
Wolf springs offers 2 choices. 32lb and 36lb.
Can anyone guide me to which is best? The rifle has been basically converted to a bench gun and I'm attempting to optimize ignition, but the two different rates have me looking for more info on which one and why.
Thanks for the help!

Well if it's a bench gun I'd go with the lighter one, You would have easier bolt lift =less chance of upsetting the rifle in the bags and less vibration from a lighter spring than a heavy but then again what do the spent primers look like , depth of indention . if its pretty shallow then I'd go with the heaver one to ensure positive ignition. I'd get them both shoot some groups with both look at the results, let that guide you. I make my own actions for rimfire ,I've never had the option of just grabbing a factory spring it's always trial and error.

The firing pin protrusion and spring compression are readily adjustable as well on the Savage, a bit to work with.
