Stocky's LR Carbon Fiber VG2 Opinions

I'd like to get some opinions on Stocky's Long Range Carbon Fiber Vertical Grip (VG2) Stock from those who ACTUALLY OWN OR HAVE HANDLED ONE.

Just for clarification, I'm interested in opinions on the $550 Carbon Fiber hand laid stock, not the $200 injection molded version.

There seem to be very few reviews available, but the ones that are out there are quite impressive. Some even going as far as to compare to a Manners EH1.

My dad has the plastic version so I'll only comment on ergonomics, but it is a comfortable design. Personally, I feel it could have a wider/flatter fore end though. Still needed a cheek riser using an egw 20moa rail, low rings and a SIII 8-32x56, though that may not be an issue for everyone.

I think AG composite makes them for stockys I have heard of very good things of AG composite stocks. I know a guy who handles the AG's all the time and speaks highly of them

To comment on AG: I have a sporter AG Composites Carbon fiber stock on a Rem 700 hunting rifle. Very nice stock for the money. Fit and finish is excellent and it's solid as a rock.

I think you can see the family resemblance in these pictures from the respective websites. Because of this, the familiarity between these stocks is fairly easy to adjust to. I do have one of the carbon fiber from Stocky's but I have several each of the others from Manners.

"Stocky has teamed-up with AG Composites to offer a lineup of Stocky CAD designed, premium lightweight carbon fiber stocks for under $600!"

This style of stock suits me so I'm comfortable no matter which version I pick up. I have yet to notice any flaws in the Stocky's version although I haven't had it as long as I've had the Manners. The only drawback is that I prefer an adjustable cheek piece.

Mine is a Bell and Carlson Tactical Medalist Style 6 a little more heavy I think 3.5 lbs stock I have added a RAD system but has the adjustable check rest
