Stock Tape

My stock is showing some wear on the rear bag area and want to protect it a little better.
I see some fellas use a clear tape on the stock to keep it from getting scratched.
Where do I find it and is it a good idea to use it???
Can you use it on the forearm area also???

It's not really to protect your stock, it's to make your stock slide better on the bags. But I guess if there's tape on your stock it will certainly protect your stock.

Here is the tape I use. I've found it holds up very well, and has a good adhesive. Yet, it comes off clean when you want to remove it. I use it on my front and rear slides for my Match 50 BMG.
