Stock Recommendation

I'm looking to get a new stock for my rifle, short action Remington with a Bartlein #8/LV contour barrel. It will be primarily used for prairie dog /varmint shooting with the occasional match shoot at my local club. Looking for any input on which stock you guys would use. Thanks

I particularly like the McMillan HTG, But I don’t shoot much competition.

You may want to consider a machined platform such as what is used in PRS these days. I have had these types of stocks in the past such as State Arms (for the Rem 700 footprint), PDC Custom and a Dolphin Rifles (from the UK) Barnard P based rifle in 308 that I use for occasional F T/R. It was a laser. None of them required any bedding. As from the Dolphin with a straight SS 30" barrel, the others were very portable. At least by my standards.
