I highly recommend Brandon at "Custom Gun coatings" for camo work. The guy is meticulous and one of the best in the business at painting camos. Link provided below to his site; he has a gallery/portfolio that shows several stock in various patterns

I really like @Dusty Stevens done with metallic colors and matte clear.
I did a stock for @Walker Ridge, me brother.
I took it over to show him before sanding it down for matte clear.
He liked it so much glossy he kept it!
Now I'm just about ready to do my stock a McMillan edge fill and I can't decide....
Black with dark and light grey with some orange highlights...
Or "CANDYFLAGE" marbalizer over black with green, rootbeer, and undecided 3rd color of candy with a matte clear of about 50% gloss.
