Stock Escutcheon Stainless Bushing

Anybody know where to buy these stainless steel stock escutcheons? Building a new stock for a BR gun and not really keen on the standard R700 ADL press in type. I've seen them around the range just know I do who offers them or if smiths are turning their own. Thanks in advance! BB

I make mine from various size metal bar ends. I use stainless, brass and aluminum. Sometimes i make them one piece pillar and all. If the stock will need sanding or painting they are seperate

Had a "few" custom made to give my stocks that "finished look".:cool:
Stainless steel, aluminum or whatever was available. Counter sunk for matching screws and polished. Love that finished look.;)
Nothing like a little BLING to make your day AND your finished stock.:D:D

I wanted to add the Richard Franklin look to the last rifle I bedded and the smallest piece of stainless stock I had was 2.5" dia. Being a little tight when it comes to using up my metal stash I bought a 7/8x12" hex head bolt. Made the front pillar in two pieces and the head of the bolt turned at 1.28" for the escutcheon and half the pillar. Economical source of material and minimum waste and machining time.

My escutcheon is set flush and bedded in permanently as part of the front pillar and does have the Franklin crown and counter bore for the action screw.
