Stock configuration VFS & Group

I ordered a protektor loaf bag for a VFS setup with 1 1/4" bunny ears. I guess I should have specified 3/8" spacing because I ended up with 1 1/4" stiching.
I know there is a contour specified on stocks but what I am wondering is would a attachment to the bottom rear of the stock, WITH a 1 1/4" base, in the right contour, be legal??
