Stiller tac30 switch barrel questions

I'd like to build a switch barrel gun and already have a stiller tac30 action. I've got a mag bolt face bolt and will buy a standard bolt for the action. I want a 300 wsm and 260 barrel. My question is, will this action work ok or am I better off buying a defiance deviant or bat vr action that has an integral recoil lug? I've already got the McMillan stock bedded for the stiller action, jewel trigger and accurate mag bottom metal. Will my pinned recoil lug stiller work just fine or do i need a Smith to put another pin or 2 in it, if that's even a option, or should I go the option of buying a integral recoil lug action? Your advice and input is appreciated.

I spin up multiple barrels all the time for actions that have a seperate lug. Just pay attention and clean everything when to put things together. Depending on if and how your action is bedded there may be a trick or two but pretty easy.

My main concern is the pin. After swapping the barrel time after time do I run into the problem of shearing the lug pin??

No..the pin is simply a guide making sure that the lug is orentated properly when putting things back together. There isn't any stress put on the pin...unless your bedding is FUBAR.

have any of y'all experienced any degradation in accuracy after removing and reinstalling a barrel? as in the rifle was consistently shooting .1-.2 and then after removal and reinstall it shot worse? thanks in advance. bryant

In a word...no. Done it forever and never a problem

No problem. Id get a lug alignment tool to take some load off the pin but youll likely never come close to stressing those pins. Youll only do the switch barrel thing once or twice anyway.
