Stiller Predator action 20moa bases?

If I understand this correctly, you have to use 2 remington style front bases,weaver) to mount a scope to these actions.
I would like to have a 20 moa base, so........what do I need to be asking for and also where. I presently have a set of Farrell base and rings and would like to at least use the rings on this new set up. Any suggestions?

Many get the dovetail rings that slide over and lock on. I believe they make rings with 20 moa built into them.

Unlike the Remingtons', the Stiller Predator action's rear receiver ring is the same height as the front.

I believe that another approach, that will get the job done, would be to use the Burris rings with the inserts and rotate the offset insets,available in up to .020 offset) to get the same,or greater)effect as a tilted base.

I have emailed Stiller and haven't gotten a reply yet,
Thought I would ask the wise people on this forum.
I would like to use the rings I have now and I am sure there is a way but not sure how to go about it.

I am of the same thoughts as Boyd, I am also in the same fix as Doak. searched for other bases but you cant buy two fronts except for weaver. I think that Stiller has bases for the action. I’m still waiting the return of my barreled action from the gunsmith. So post your findings from Stiller.

you need to get our davidson type of bases and we have 20ma rings that fit it. later in the year we will offer a one piece picatinney rail with and without offsets if no one else builds one first.

Hi Doak, Stiller has what you want. Got a pair for my Viper and they come with instructions on how to mount them for 20MOA.
Mine were 30mm rings that must be fit on the dovetail per his instructions, so many inches apart etc.

I too am awaiting one of Jerry's fine actions. In the mean time I called Steve Satern to have him make me a base for this action, it will be a 20 MOA 1 peice base with the Redfeild rail on the side for shooting iron sights. It will also extend past the front of the recoil lug to provide extra room to put the scope forward when i shoot it prone. If the rings & bases Jerry is making are any where near what his actions are I would go that route, That is if I didnt need this special base for shooting NRA long range.,iron or scope sights)

Mr. Stiller, what about a nice stainless steel picatinny base to match the action?

When I have needed 20 m.o.a. or even 40 m.o.a. bases for AMTs, Geskes, some BATs, etc, I had to make them. I'd just make a long rail, dovetail on top and correct radius on the bottom with the correct angle milled on it. After mounting, just cut out the middle section and use the ends. Or use the whole base if weight was not a concern.
Burris Signature "Z" rings are the easy solution if they will work.

that is the plan when we have some time. we will make stainless and 7075 aluminum bases. the one piecce steel base will have a significant weight to it.

Do you have 20MOA 1" rings in weaver and or your dovetail?

If you have the 1" dovetails, what will it cost me to trade you the non-angled 1" rings that came with my Diamondback?
