Stiller Preadtor action?

Hey guys, I was wanting to build a .308 for longer range shooting/hunting 600-800 yards. Ive heard good things about the predator actions. Would you guys go with a solid bottom action or a repeater? Is there any other actions you guys would suggest?

Kc,
You are going to have a good time looking at actions. The Predator is a fine action from all reports. Jerry would not let a product leave his shop that was not 100%.

I would look very hard at the Surgeons they are very cool, also on a 700 footprint.

If you had the time,don't mind the wait) you will not be disappointed with either action.

Some of the other action makers like BAT or Panda will take you four to six months to get an action.

Give Bruno's a call, he always has a pretty good supply of actions.

If you are in a hurry call Micky at MT Guns and buy a Barnard, some people think they are one ugly piece of kit, but they shoot lights out. They are in stock, on the shelf.

As for a single shot or repeater, on a big game rifle that second shot, though rarely needed is nice to have.
