Stiller I am on the list!!

I called PT&G today and talked to Dave about his 40x 22lr bolts. He was telling me about Stiller getting ready to make some 40X clones in 22LR. I gave stiller a call and they are in fact going to be making some new precision 40X 22LR actions. you can get them in righ right, or right left. I chose right left. The price is going to be 800 bucks. I didnt think that sounded to bad, as i have seen old remington 40X 22LR action sell for 1000 bucks. The bad part of all this is the wait. 6 months!! Thats the only thing i hate about rifles. Every thing worth a hoot has a waiting list. I am a impatient person. Aw heck i will just buy something else in the mean time to heelp pass the time until i get my action. I am pretty excited. I am going to build a tank of a 22. I think it will be a ton of fun and a good way to learn to read the wind. There are some small club shoots around, so i am just going to try it out. I dought i ever shoot any of the big matches with this rig. Just for fun!! I thought i would pass this along though, if we can get a big list of actions wanted maybe stiller can get to working on them quicker??? Lee
