Hi,
I have a 1982 Steyr-Mannlicher MATCH-UIT in .308WIN. It is a target rifle based on the SSG 69 action.
When Handloading I am trying to seat the bullet .020'' off the lands. My OAL just touching the lands is 2.95'' with a CBTOL of 2.36''.
Is this normal in the Steyr SSG 69 family of rifles or is it a sign of throat erosion?
Thank You,
