Steyr barrel blanks

There's a Steyr blank for sale in the classifieds. Did Steyr ever sell blanks under their own name? I can't find a single mention on the net regarding anybody buying, selling, or building with Steyr blanks. I know they make the machinery, and some of the few hammer forged blanks available are likely made on Steyr machines.

Lothar Walther sells hammer forged blanks. Can't find a single mention of anybody building one...

Anybody ever come across a Steyr barrel blank?

Someone doing R&D for the company may have had one.
