I will be using Std not SC H4831 to load some 85 Sierra HP's and some 88Gr Berger Varmits--Does anyone have a pet load for one of these using this powder??

Thanks in advance

Doesn't make any difference, load data is the same for both.

Can't help on the loads, as I prefer H-414.......

I've used both H4831 and H4831SC in my 243's shooting the 85 grain Sierra HPBT and both shot to almost the same exact point of impact. I load the cases pretty full (48 to 49 grains) and have never observed any signs of pressure in my rifles (all REM700's). However since all rifles are different, you should probably start a few grains lower and work your way up. Ben

I shoot a 243 Win with 1 in 12 twist, pushing an 80 gr. Nosler with 39.3 gr of Varget. and it shoots great. shot it yesterday 2 shots same hole.

I have shot H4831 in 243 with 90gr. Speer bullets since the early 70's when i shot the 243. Have 3 sons all had 243's and several friends that have used this load over the years and never felt the need to change. All used 48 to 49 gr. with both old pulldown powder to new short cut. weewilly
