Anyone running this setup? If so, what are some of your loads? Need a good starting point, from my experience, I always final about a grain or so over the max load in the manual.

I’d start at 41 grns. I ended up at 42.7 and a buddy of mine ended up at 43 with the same combo, except with CCI 450s. There’s a node around 41.5 and another around 42.5-43. Mine’s out of a Krieger, his is out of a shilen.

I'd probably suggest you try using Magnum primers. I know with standard SR primers I was getting cratering even at low pressure loads. Switching to Magnum primers corrected the issue.

My setup ended up happy at 40.5 for H4350 but Im using Hornady brass with large std. primers.

Out of my 2 6.5 creeds, both Savage factory, one likes 40.0 gr H4350 , and the other likes 41.6 ....not that i can't go higher, but this is where they shoot....if you need the velocity, chase it, if not, you might find a good node lower.....rsbhunter

My 6.5 CM, 26" PVA barrel on a RPR, really likes 41.2 grains of H-4350. 2780 fps. I'm jumping 140 Berger Hybrids .040" with .002" neck tension in Lapua small primer brass.
