10 twist got a great deal on it

Today I'm going to my gunsmith to start to put it to gether have to tru the receiver fit barrel in the stock prep the stock for trigger gaurd and paint my reamer will arrive next week!

NICE.................. ;D

What weight bullets are you looking at shooting in it???

That 10 twist will open up some options...

Phil.

The 22 BR is a great ghog/varmint round...I have 2, 12 and 14 twist. A 10 tw will give you a large choice of bullets. Unfortunately, there are not many varmint bullets weighing 69 gr and more...I had a 22 BRX, 9 tw but couldn't get the heavies to go very fast, plus I had too much freebore that eroded in time and I had seating probs since I like to seat .020 into lands. Berger does have a 64gr varmint bullet and my 12 tw pushes them at 3400+ fps and they are death rays! Congrats and keep us posted.

I have three 22BR barrels that are all shooting a good 2 points better than either of my two 8” Krieger 6BR barrels.

I am going to try 53gr vmax up to the 64 gr bergers my action is now trued I'm just doing final barrel Chantal fitting and then when I get my reamer it will be ready to shoot!!!

my 22BR, 10-twist really likes the 65 gr Sierra Gamekings.
pretty mean bullet on critters too!

My action is all squared up my reamer came on Friday night on Tuesday I'm going to chamber and test fire the gun then bed it I will be ready for ground hogs next week :)

I shoot water filled Hodgdon powder bottles last weekend. Yesterday I shot out to 1000yds hitting the plinker. So far since I got mine this year, I've put away, 3 ground hogs, and 4 deer. It's a fun little cartridge. :D

My load---53gr Vmax, 31.3gr IMR8208XBR, Rem 7 1/2 primer, and .020" jump.
