My 10 year old grandkiddo Kamella has an interest in mechanical things and building stuff. Today, she came along when I had some stock work to do. I've explained the workings of a mill to her before and related the cuts to the width of a human hair so she would better understand. So today, I've got this stock in the vise and she's moving the mill table for me. As it was getting close, I asked her to move it "...just a hair more." She said : "That's three marks, right?"
After cutting the pillar holes, I had her go down through one to see how the machine feels when it's running. She loved it!
She loves the smell of the shop and is fascinated by the size of the hauler. The Cobra Jet is her favorite because of the graphics. She didn't want to get too close to the Pro Charged Fox body, though. "It looks kind of scary."
Smart kid.
