Stainless steel sling swivel studs?????

Anyone out there know where I can get some of these??? And/or why nobody makes them??? Is it just asking too much??? I mean, all these stainless guns out there and silver rings, bases and scopes...even the sling swivels themselves can be had easily, but no studs???? Last time I needed a set I had to make them. Sure would be nice to just buy some. Thanks in advance for any info.

I haven't bought any in a while but I used to get them from Michael's of Oregon, or Uncle Mikes but I think I had to buy a set with the swivels. Hope this helps, RW

The guy at my local gun store gave me a pair that I dug out of one of his junk bins awhile back. I think they are Uncle Mikes. I put them on my 40XBR and they look real nice. jd

Thanks for all the replies so far fellas...Uncle Mikes are not stainless...they are plated nickel. The ones EGW sells are in fact stainless, but they only offer them with a 10-24 machine thread. I need regular style wood screw thread type, but it appears there is no such thing for some strange reason.
Oh well, they don't make stainless steel shotguns either....I guess some things are just not meant to happen.

Just an FYI,and not that there's a dang thing wrong with stainless....

Putting an extremely high degree of "polish" on better grades of carbon steel with any care at all....is pretty good.Power buffed to practically "chrome" degree of shine. An occasional wipe, and finishing wax.Good luck with your project.

Yep, I have done exactly that in the past and was about to do it with this rifle but the fact is that this one is my personal hunting rifle and gets the least amount of needed attention...they would be forgotten about during bear season and turn red.

I hear ya...picked up a SS SPS,7-08 this week.Got a phatass t.i.p. on a job,figured get a semi beater sporter.It'll be as maintenance free as possible.BW
