I have been following this topic with great interest. Ultra-sonic and the Thumler liquid assist methods are typical. The Lemi-Shine (from Publix) additive is the key component as far as Im concerned.
Providing you have a "bowl" that will tolerate this next version, lets consider the old "vibratory" method. Its truly going to be noisy. Also, considering that there is "0" liquid to "cushion" the "impact" Im wondering if the brass would be rendered useless or if alot less time would be required?
I believe the bowl might be replaced more often than what is typical. My entire unit is replaced (motor craps out) without ever needing a bowl replacement. Now, I do have spare bowls. I would like to know if anyone has tried this? The media is $50 for this experiment. (my point I guess)
This is the dry version, just stainless media and your brass.
