The Tuesday Fun Shoot Committee has begun trials of a Peeking Groundhog Shoot on designated dates which will be posted here. Depending on turnout and acceptance they may become a regular occurrence. The committee invites all interested shooters to come have a try at what was a fun match on it's initial trial. We invite comments and suggestions after you have given this match a try. This match will be held on Tuesday, July 12.
The current course of fire is:
St. Thomas Standing Groundhog with 12 point option at 300 yards
6 Target Standing Groundhog. options pending at 200 yards
6 Target Peeking Groundhog at 100 yards
Accommodations are made for Light Factory Rifles - pending input.
The Tuesday Fun Shoots are a less intensive version of the Saturday shoots and are intended as practice, testing and just plain fun. There is no clock, nor RSO per se, and the registration fee is only $5.00 There are reduced payouts and you must be present to collect. Registration opens around 08:00 and the first relay starts at 09:00..
The St. Thomas Sportsmen's Association Is located between St. Thomas and Fort Loudon, PA on US Route 30. Route 30 and is easily accessed from I-81 at Chambersburg, PA and US Route 522 at McConnellsburg, PA .
