It's the Juggernaut, Bitch!
Saturday, October 13 marked the final St Thomas Sportsmen's Association Groundhog Shoot of the 2018 season. A Very Large THANK YOU to those who turned out despite less than optimal shooting conditions! The Toughest Range You'll Ever Love delivered a reminder about how tough it can get, with wind, showers and lower-than-usual temperatures. In spite of all this the match proceeded successfully. Again, a Thank You to those who competed.
Those who competed regularly through the 2018 season were rewarded with cash payouts for the top aggs in their classes, topped off by the $50 bill drawing and payouts for the current match.
The people who made the 2018 season possible deserve a round of thanks and recognition. First, the Target Setters who braved drenching rain, stifling heat, and wind and rain and chill on Saturday to get the targets prepared and posted. Very Well Done, ladies!!! Steve Ladino gets a hand for being the Range Officer and conducting matches and keeping things moving in a professional manner. Thanks also go to Jack Hawbaker, Groundhog Shoot Committee President, for getting things scheduled and kept in order, and the Rules Committee for keeping things on a fair and even keel. Thanks also go to the crew that rebuilt the target stands this spring before the season started. Thanks to you all!!
The members of the Groundhog Shoot Committee thank all the 2018 competitors for their participation and invite one and all to return for the 2019 season which will begin in April, 2019.
And now for the scores:
