St. Louis 600 Yard IBS Matches 4/29 & 30

We will be hosting our first 600 Yard IBS Matches of the season on April 29th and April 30th. Saturday's match is the Charlie Macke Memorial Tournament, a non SOY Points Match. Sunday's event is a SOY Points Match.

Please be advised that the match fees will be $60 total, per day, for shooting Light and Heavy. Please pay by check or with correct change. There will be no Factory Class. Also be advised that we will not be providing lunch for the matches on that weekend. However there are snack and soda vending machines in the clubhouse. So, plan accordingly, bring a lunch if you want one. We may provide them at later matches.

I will arrange to have the gate open by 10:00 am on Friday morning. Practice will be available Friday and a short sight in period will be provided Saturday morning. No sight in period on Sunday morning. Bench assignments will be done by the computer by 8:30 Saturday morning.

Saturday match begins at 9:00 am. Sunday match begins at 8:00 am.

I am certain that I have forgotten to mention something here.

Many thanks in advance and looking forward to seeing all of you.

Looks like it is supposed to be a wet weekend but we will get the matches in. I will also arrange inside storage for your equipment overnight, if desired. The gate will be open by 9:00 am Friday morning and practice will be available as soon as John and I are able to get the sighter plates and target frames set.

See you all soon.

You guys are animals!! Monsoon rain and wind , no sammiches. Real Spartans!! Lmao man o man it's rough out there right now. Lol

Ha, one to remember for sure. First mention has to go to the target crew. They were the Spartans and did a splendid job dealing with the targets, wet sighter plates and working in all that rain.

Shooting was fairly sporting; sighters flying around on the plates. Make your last correction on your 5 second sighter then shoot the record target. Targets get posted. What the hell, that's nowhere close to where the last sighter went.

Groups ran on the larger side. One shooter, who will remain nameless.....Johnny Powers. Shot a 2 inch group and a 14 inch, back to back on the same relay. Lots of surprises when you saw the record targets.

The shooters and target crew had wonderful attitudes. Just think, we get to do it all over tomorrow.
