Folks
I have access to all the machines to produce rifle barrels, whether by button rifling or hammer rifling.
In addition to carbon steel barrels, we would like to make stainless steel barrels by button rifling.
From the information obtained, the correct steel is 416R.
However, it is a difficult steel to obtain in our country.
Could anyone tell me the approximate composition, especially the percentage of sulfur, and also a supplier of this type of steel in the USA?
Thanks
Liseo
