Springfield 2020 waypoint

Anyone have any experience with the Springfield Waypoint 2020? I do not see much buzz about it.
They were supposed to reveal more caliber offerings but that has not happened.

They are chronically backordered. I have a friend whos cousin has been waiting for one nearly a year. Perhaps they are being wise in trying to fulfill demand for current guns before adding new cartridges.

There was one at a local shop for sale. Seemed like a fine rifle at a fair price, though I've never been a Springfield supporter for obvious reasons. There was temptation to buy it. The action was smooth, the trigger was good, it was light, and the finish was good. Being in the wrong chambering and saying "Springfield" on the side gave my wallet cover so that it made it away from the shop unscathed.

I've been waiting for more calibers myself, seems to be a great value in the rifle.

I would like to see one up close but have not yet come by one at any of the local shops i visit weekly.
