Spotting scope/stand compatibility question

I have a Sinclair spotting scope bench clamp and an older Kowa TSN-601 spotting scope w/angled eyepiece and a fixed mount on the bottom.

Is there a way to adapt the vertical mount on the Sinclair to something horizontal so I can mount the Kowa? The Kowa has a rigid body and cannot be rotated like many newer scopes.

If somebody has tackled this before, I'd love to hear how you made it work. If you've tried and failed, I'd like to hear that as well.

I'd like to use the Kowa, but if it can't be done then I'll look for another spotting scope.

Thanks,
Don

I'm providing an update regarding the 90 deg. adapter (listed above) with the Sinclair spotting scope bench stand.

To make this work, I had to remove the round silver rosette so I could get it to attach to the vertical mount on the scope stand. (With the rosette in place, the scope stand hex socket threaded screw was not long enough to engage the threads in the 90 deg. adapter.)
The other thing I still need to do is remove the 2 locating pins (which now stick up on the horizontal mounting area) since they will not work with the bottom configuration of my Kowa spotting scope.

So, yes, this B&H 90 deg. adapter can work; but not without some modification.

Of course, your particular spotting scope may be different and be more or less problematic in getting it to work.
