Well folks, seems the time has come. My avid hunting days are getting fewer and farther between, so I have decided to let go of some of my equipment so someone else can enjoy them as much as I have. First on the block is a dandy! Like the title states, a Remington 700 Varmint Special in 6mm Rem. It is definitely a shooter, consistently, 1/2" groups with Nosler 70gr BT and IMR 4350. Rifle is pillar bedded using G10 material for pillars. This was done by myself while I was taking a summer course in precision bedding taught by the great Speedy Gonzales. Rifle is wearing a Leupold var-xiii 3.5x10 with AO and Leupold mounts that have been lapped and bedded. This was used to hunt coyotes with so the barrel has never been run hot. Not sure on the round count as I bought it used myself. It does shoot very well and has never missed a coyote! Would prefer to do a FTF sale, which I will let buyer have what loaded ammo I have, brass and bullets and dies will be available to the buyer if needed. I am going to price the rifle at what I think is a fair price, not GB prices, at $1000.00 for the rifle and mounts, $1250.00 with scope as it sits now. Will not disappoint! Thank You.
