This Grey Ghost tribute rifle was going to be like Jacks # 2 but I decided on newer components. I was always going to use it down south of me on Coues but it just hasn't happened.
It's an ADL REM 700 LA trued and worked over and lightened by the best, Karl Feldkamp of Kampfeld Custom.
He slab sided the action, skletonized the bolt handle to lighten it. Tungsten and graphite black cerakote brings a lot of contrast and this thing is flat out HANDSOME!
Timney trigger breaks clean at 1 lb 10 ozs but is adjustable.
Stock is a Manners ADL EH-2 or 3 I forget and has the elite tactical fill, the light one. Gap camo. 14 inch lop.
It has a 21 inch and 1:9.5 twist Hawk Hill barrel that I called them for and ordered. It was the lightest contour they would make. Karl worked his lightening magic and spiral fluted it. IT BALANCES PERFECTLY!
It has a Vortex Razor 3-15x42 HDLH scope with HSR-4 I think (floating crosshair with bdc hashes) and Talley combo rings.
This thing shoots EVERYTHING well and puts 3 rds of the Sierra factory TGK into 1/2 moa repeatedly.
Maybe 50 rds through it, no more.
Hate to let it go but all I do is pull it out and look at it so it should get some use on the little southern AZ white tail it was named for!
$2300 shipped for rifle with scope as you see it on the wood spool or knock a hundred off for a FTF if you're from Phx or Tucson, meet in the middle.
