Could be anywhere between 222 and 22-50, including 222 mag, 223, 22BR.

Yes. I shoot 50 grain in 222. Fine for Pd and groundhog and a bargain at that. 55 is fine for 223 and up, 14 twist. It is an old school bullet.

Thanks guys. Have the Speers in hand. Side by side, with the vmax it appears that the speer should work fine. Shooting will confirm or negate.
