I want to give out a special last but not least thank you to a good friend of mine Dan Pohlabel. Dan runs a business Kreativ Solutions, LLC. He makes the Flex-Bipods that are showing up at all the major Fclass Matches.

Well one of his new products is a mirage cap. If any of you noticed my rifle at Phoenix I had one on. It has become a permanent fixture on my Nightforce 2014 Competition scope and I dont see myself not using one.

Kreativ Solutions, LLC. Wesites states the following, - Read mirage over a much longer distance, - Reduce movement of the target image on days with heavy mirage, - Darkens your target image to aid in reading mirage. I can only say this ,IT WORKS.

I now have 4 one for each rifle scope and wont leave home without them. It allowed me to see the changes in the mirage at full 55 power in the Phoenix heat and minimized the time needed to check wind with my spotting scope.

Jim is a good friend of mine, that said he wouldn't endorse anything that didn't work. Jim is one of the best I know of at reading mirage and he has proven that many times. Congrats to Jim on his 2nd National Championship, he deserved to win!

I second that. My mirage cap is a permenant fixture to my scope. I even used it in the low light and temperatures during the Canadian nationals and saw mirage I didn't see in my spotting scope.

I'm a firm believer in the modifier disc (as March calls it). It's cool to see that Dan makes one that a little more universal, although I hate to give up my (perceived) advantage...
