I gave a coyote a lesson on feral hog dining. He was leaving after a midday meal and in quite a hurry. I guess he saw me from my front porch. So I was rushing to take the shot before he disappeared behind a big tree. I couldn't find a speck of blood and went looking for a small twig or vine shot. The follow through went right into a darned hackberry tree on the fence line 50 yards away. It's the first small tree left of the big oak.

No wonder I couldn't find any blood. It never exited. Just dislodged some of the bark. I was a little surprised in the 6mm AR with the 70 gr Sierra HPBT. Another educated yote.
