Someone school me on a creedmore please

I'm considering have a semi built in a 6.5 creedmore by. JP rifles. Knowing nothing of this round I'd like some advice on the ins and outs please. I've seen them (6 CM and 6.5 CM) often but never really followed them or the case design.
There weren't many options on having an LRP 07 built so I chose the 6.5 creedmore over the 260 and the 308 since I already own an AI in a 308 don't need a duplicate round to be honest.

Thanks in advance.

It's basically an somewhat improved shoulder angle from a 260, with slightly less capacity but more than a 6.5x47L.

Ballistics wise it's one of the triplets that are the 260R, 6.5CM and 6.5L.

It has the down side of only one brass supplier unless something has changed. (The 260 has Rem and Lapua and the 6.5x47L has Lapua.)

Up side, you can buy off the shelf match ammo for it

I chose the 6.5 creedmoor over the 6.5x47 and 260 rem because one, if i wanted to get factory ammo, i could get it and it would shoot decent. two, it has a cool name :) . three, ballistically it competes with all the others.

nosler and hornady are the two mfg i know of making brass for it, which I never had problems getting. im on my 6th loadings on my brass and i anneal every three-four firings. primer pockets still feel good.

the shorter case makes it easier to load than the 260 since you have more room to seat out the bullet if need be and still have it mag feed properly.

my 6.5 is shooting 140 amax's and hybrids really well and its shooting well out to 1000 yards with about a 8.1-8.2mil drop with a 100 yd zero using the hybrids and pushing it about 2890 fps out of a 26" 1:8 twist barrel.

i think you will like the 6.5. go on www.65creedmoor.com. you'll get a lot more info there also.

p.s - the bottom middle target has a pulled shot which i called before i really paid attention to where it was on paper and was the 2nd shot of the string. the third bullet almost stacked on the 1st shot. bottom right target was 5 shots :)
