Hornady suggests a 1-8" twist, but I like many found that to be bogus. These shoot excellent in several of my Kimber 223 rifles with factory 1-9 twist. Never had stability issues and shot them to 600 yards. Excellent bullets, just have too many and have gone to 60gr TMKs in the Kimbers for coyotes.

As good as your AR shoots. Some guys have had great luck. They are designed to be loaded to AR mag length. Not many options in the 70 grain range other than this 73gr Horn for an AR. I never shot them in anything other than a few 22-250's and 223's and they shot 1/2 MOA easily in anything I shot them in.
