Rem 700 chambered in .300/221 Whisper by the late Mickey Coleman
16.75" Krieger 1:8" twist barrel threaded for a suppressor. Varmint Special barrel contour.
PTG firing pin assembly, BDL bottom metal, Hogue stock.
I have lots of Lapua 221 FB brass, (I'll post up a total)
Rifle has been fired 275-300 times. Just lost interest over the years.
Fun gun to shoot that would be great for deer and pigs <125 yds.
No dies. Hornady sells a set for $45 300 BO / 300 Whisper
I mainly shot the heavies 220 gr at 100 yds. Killed a half-dozen deer and pigs in Texas.
Trigger was tuned by Mickey, rifle as pictured weighs around 8 lbs. (I'll dbl-check)
I haven't shot this rifle in over 10 yrs and it's time for someone else to have fun with it

Basically this is a turn key package , and ready to shoot with brass, and other items.

I do not have a set of 300 Whisper dies, Hornady sells a set of 300 BO/ 300 Whisper reloading dies for $45 - $50. The Wilson bullet seater pictured below will work to seat bullets. Then all you would need is a FL forming die with a decapper ... probably $25-$30 from LEE, RCBS, Hornady

FYI - I primarily shot this rifle single shot from the bench at the range and from a deer blind. I never cycled it for speed shooting or as fast as I could. Mainly shot deer/pigs, and targets for group size.

Another person had this same question about the rifle functioning as a repeater.

To confirm: I removed the firing pin assembly. Loaded 4 rounds in the magazine, then proceeded to cycle the bolt which loaded all the live rounds and ejected them with no problems. The bolt extracted and ejected live rounds with no hiccups ... Hope that helps.
