For Sale: Japanese Type 30 Bayonet Toyoda Jido Shokki Seisakusho manufacturer, late war production. The bayonet is in very nice condition with some surface rust. This is considered the"last ditch" edition with straight cross guard and blade bearing arsenal markings indicating manufacture by Toyoda Jido Shokki Seisakusho (Toyoda Automatic Loom Works) under Nagoya Arsenal supervision. This bayonet is late war design, with straight quillion, with the final style flat sided rectangular pommel. The rivet retained wood grip is contoured and wraps around the tang. The blade is flat without fullers and blued, the cross guard is straight but still contoured on the side. The base is marked serial number 5513. The bayonet is complete with "last ditch" scabbard, made with two pieces of wood bound with string wrappings which are in good shape.
