I don't know but it makes sense to me.Did they make this powder at one time ( N-125). I see it listed in my Quickload library.
No flack suit required. This would be a slower powder than the 120 and the whole point.Better put your flack suit on.![]()
I understand. But some others here have differing opinions. I know that N-134 works well in my 30x47L.No flack suit required. This would be a slower powder than the 120 and the whole point.
The great thing about America is the right to an opinion well founded or notI understand. But some others here have differing opinions. I know that N-134 works well in my 30x47L.![]()
Hello Murray, at one-time Vihtavuori Oy did make N125. It is a powder that had been formulated to excel with the 7.62 X 39 Russian cartridge and because of this, it had been determined that it would only be a limited application propellant. Because of this it had never been officially available here in the US. This is information from before the Nammo acquisition of Vihtavuori and is from the old 3rd edition manual that had been dated for 1/1/2002 from when Kaltron-Pettibone had been the US Importer of the Vihtavuori powders. There are no plans that we are aware of to bring this powder to the US market. We hope that this information proves to be helpful.Did they make this powder at one time ( N-125). Not the same kernel size so I doubt it will blend well with n130. N120 is a finer kernel. Meters great. I don't think I'd consider it to be too fast as is, but a good option. Yes, it's a bit faster than h4198 but even as good as 4198 performs in a 30br, it's a tad on the slow side imho.I was thinking over night an equal mix of N-130 and N-120 might make some sense in a 30 BR. Anyone tried it?
Thanks,
Pete
Thanks. I haven't looked at the jug I have. It's awaiting my return in about 45 days. So, makes sense what you have said. Perhaps it is the Holy Grail. If only we could find one for the 6 BR !Not the same kernel size so I doubt it will blend well with n130. N120 is a finer kernel. Meters great. I would strongly suggest that no one attempt this !I was thinking over night an equal mix of N-130 and N-120 might make some sense in a 30 BR. Anyone tried it?
