SNS coated 9mm question

I was gifted 1000 SNS 9mm 125gn coated bullets last week and am concerned about running them in my P320c and Staccato P. I don't know much about the coating they use but I have heard troubling things about moly coatings essentially ruining barrels. I do plan to run jacketed bullets as well but I'd like to use these SNS bullets if the won't cause me any issues.

I’ve ran coated bullets for the last several years, never a problem. The myth that coated bullets can ruin a barrel is simply false. Maybe a long time ago when they were sorting out what coating or concoction to use, not now a days. I know SNS use the Hi-Tek coating, which a ton of other places do as well. Load ‘em up without worry.

SNS makes a good bullet. I have shot many thousands of them over the years.

Best advice I can give is to bell your cases a little more so that when you seat the bullets the coating does not get shaved off. Other than that, just like any other bullet.

I've been running Blue Bullets coated for about 5 years and have had no issues with over 2K of them. These are the 135 grain versions and I run a little faster powder that give decent accuracy.

This!

I have shot 1,000's of the SNS coated bullets in USPSA both 40 and 9. as said bell a little more to make sure you don't shave the coating off.
