Thanks, She has a S&W .357 REV but wanted something lighter She only shoots .38 in it anywayDependent on her hand/arm strength, I'd suggest a small revolver.
My 80 year old Mother wasn't able to rack any of the auto pistols her husband left her. To my unpleasant surprise, he had giver her a S&W L Frame 3" .357 Mag, loaded with .357 ammo. She is barely able to hold hold the firearm up, and the barrel points at the floor. If she had touched off a .357 load the gun would have blown a hole in the floor, or worse a wall, including her neighbors wall. The recoil alone would have injured her. I had my brother swap the .357s for .38s until I find her something more manageable.
Sorry, I don't have any answer for the EZ spring swap. Just suggesting a different solution.
Not on the CA allowable list in 9mm maybe a 380, i'll lookIm pretty sure theres some buffer type parts in the ez but i cant remember for sure. I thought there was a CA compliant shield ez?
