Small flash holes Alpha brass

I've got a JLC fl die, the pin measures .054..im not finding anywhere to purchase a smaller size decapping pin for this die.
Thanks in advance.

I wished I had some pin gauges to see what the flash holes actually measured
Just use the de-priming pin as your gauge, take the de-capping assembly out of the die and see if the pin will pass through the flash hole.
As “Old Navy” said, that pin should be just right for the flash hole.
If is too large it won’t be by much and two ways to fix the problem, one would be to use a KM Flash Hole Uniformer to ensure that the flash holes meet industry standard or you can chuck up the pin in in a drill or lathe if you have one and lightly use a mini file {very fine} or even a honing stone and remove a small amount of diameter from the pin.
I would be surprised if the flash holes are too small for your de-priming pin and if so, I personally would use the KM tool over modifying the pin….

Give PMA a call. I was able to get a spare decapping pin for my JLC die a couple years ago.

I just checked my Alpha ppc brass with gauge pins, it's on it's 4th firing. .060 is tight, .059 is a easy go.
They advertise it at .060
Hmmm??? That's interesting!

As I said above my .069 decapping pins easily fit my Alpha brass with a lot of room to spare, which supports when I read on their website that apparently shows them using .080" flash holes (one of the reasons there's been issues with piercing primers):

I wonder if they use different size flash holes for difference cases?
