Small firing pin?

The pin fit relative to the hole is what matters most. If you do the calculations of the surface area of the smaller hole itll hold a lot more pressure without blanking primers and some ctg have a very fast spike that needs the smaller area (6.5x47l for example) so most just do the smaller pin when bushing the hole

You are very likely to get punched primers using small primers and hitting them with large striker diameter. Seen it happen many times.
