Topic for discussion: 6.5x55 AI and variants vs. 6.5-06 as compared to 6.5x284.

I happen to have come across a vz24 with 6.5x55 swede barrle and lots o brass... This got me thinking to an AI version for f-class. I have a long action, and a starting stock. My problem is I already have a 6.5 creedmoor which keeps me from really enjoying the standard 6.5 swede. If I wanted a 6.5x284 equiv, I see either a 6.5x55AI or a 6.5-06. I have brass for both, but I'm leaning toward the 6.5x55 AI. Thoughts?

I like Lapua brass. That it what I use to size and form my 6.5-06 Baer. Just a bit more zip than the 6.5-284... 8)

I think the swede AI would be fine and since lapua is making brass how do you go wrong.

Good point, and I like that brass forming isn't too tricky for the AI
