The Sloughhouse Shooters Club shot its second round of e-targets on Sunday July 25, 2021. If you've never shot
e-targets as a club or participated in an event using e-targets you might be surprised to find out that a match typically goes much quicker, the shooter gets instant feedback from from the I-pad that registers your points of contact on the target, shot data is displayed on the screen that allows you to note your bullet speed, and competitors don't have to lift targets in the pit.
Does e-targets come with challenges? Yes, shooters have to become familiar with with either I-pads or tablets as the data is displayed on one of these devices at the shooters bench.
If anyone is interested in shooting long range benchrest competitions (typically 600-1000 yards), and you live in Northern California Sacramento area, please contact our club. Matches are held on the 4th Sunday of the month and everyone is welcome, seasoned shooters or beginners.
