Sling swivel for Oryx chassis

How do I attach a sling swivel to an Oryx chassis? I have been using a bipod attached to a short pic rail connected to the Mlok slots, but I want to try using a shooting sling for prone. I'm really clueless about swivels.

There is a small hole forward of the Mlok slots on the forend. It apppears to be threaded or maybe just concentric grooves? The MDT website has a threaded stud with a sideways hole but then I need the ring. Some websites have a push button stud with what looks like ball detents that includes a ring. I would really appreciate advice on what to get.

M-Lok QD sling mount if you want to use a QD swivel. Many make them. The QD sling swivels are easy to find to go along with it.

Here’s one from Magpul

MDT says it’s threaded for one of their studs. I’m not familiar with that chassis so I can’t say.

To further answer your questions. Search for “QD swivel” for the quick detach type and search for “sling swivel” for the type that fits the threaded stud with the horizontal hole in it. GrovTec was the original for the QD’s but many including Magpul make them now. Uncle Mike’s was the original swivel that fit the studs but there are many knock offs there too.

I attached a strip of wood to the chassis using the mloc slots and screws and washers. I had cut a slot in the wood for an Anschutz rail. Works fine.
