Try a Carbon Arc set at 500 AmpsPurchased this, found a steel barrel with a SS sleeve and 8 oz. Sako trigger without a safety. Looks like the sleeve is glued on, I'm looking for advise on how to remove the sleeve.

BTW a 20 ton press makes a great barrel vise.

Says FINLAND.I was surprised to see it's a Sako built in England. I've always assumed Sako's were built in Finland.

Easy to mistake it, does look like ENGLAND.It does, doesn't it. Misread as England.
I removed it without heat, it was only glued around the chamber and muzzle.
Nice shootin Tex!Made a jig from round stock the same dia. as the bolt, tapped for the stop. Worked down the 1000 paper with oil. Now for the polish and blue.
