Nice job! Reminds me of my own first firearm. I bought a 3 shot Westernfield from my Uncle for $35.00 at age 11. No telling how many bunnies and tree rats met their demise with it. It was the only gun I owned for many years. I too, refinished the stock and had it blued. Put it away for my first born grandson and never was blessed with one. Your post has reminded me to search for a young lad to give my 410 to.Picked up an old J Stevens Model 38A mag fed 410 shotgun for $65.00 that needed some TLC. After a bit of stock sanding and barrel refinishing to get the rust off and a bit of bluing I think it turned out ok, Been a long time since I played with a .410.View attachment 1072898 View attachment 1072900
